At SCS, we are committed to providing a personalized, high-quality education that meets each student at their level and helps them grow academically. One of the key tools we use to achieve this is the MAP Growth assessment, administered up to three times a year for students in grades 3-8.
MAP Growth tests offer a comprehensive view of what students know and what they are ready to learn. The assessments focus on math, reading, and language skills, providing educators with detailed information about each student’s strengths and areas for growth. Unlike traditional tests, MAP Growth assessments provide immediate, actionable feedback, allowing teachers to identify whether a student is performing on, above, or below grade level and adjust instruction accordingly.
By leveraging this feedback, our teachers are able to tailor classroom instruction, set individualized learning goals, and provide targeted support to help every student succeed. This approach ensures that students are challenged appropriately, encouraged to grow, and supported in reaching their full potential academically.
