October is Pastor Appreciation Month

We love our pastors, all of whom are uniquely gifted and serve the Lord and this church body diligently. Let's show Pastors Michael, Mike, John, Alex, Matthew, and Shane some love with a simple word or note of thanks and appreciation. You can use the offering box at the sound booth to drop off a note, or hand it to them directly. Small gestures of thanks and your prayers mean the world to them.

Before you know it . . .

. . . our 14th Annual Harvest Fest will be here. WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF BAGGED CANDY to hand out to the many visitors that will cruise through our parking lot to experience all the fun of the night! It is a Friday, so we expect more visitors than usual. We have boxes in the foyer for your donations. This is greatly appreciated. Tap the link below for information and sign ups to help in areas needed for this fun outreach event. We will be in the courtyard on Sundays in October. Thank you to all that have signed up to be a "trunker" - we appreciate you! We do have room for a couple more as well as a need for people to be on "inflatable duty" - keeping an eye on them for a time to make sure order is kept. Tap the link below!

Our Voices Do Matter - Voter ID & Prop 50

VISIT US IN THE COURTYARD THIS SUNDAY to sign a petition to require voter ID when voting in person as well as information on voting NO on Prop 50. When we are standing in front of Jesus reviewing what we did on earth, we should want to show that we were faithful to do our part to stand for righteousness.

Click the links below for more on Voter ID and Prop 50.

Community Fundraiser for Kidz Praize

Miguel's Jr. in Norco Village, 2450 River Road, Norco is hosting a Community Support Event to benefit Kidz Praize! On Thursday, October 23, 2025, 20% of your pre-tax food and beverage purchase will be donated to our Kidz. You must mention "Kidz Praize" when ordering to be counted for the event. You can download a flyer below. Location is just down the road from Living Truth.

It really is a blessing!

Our Meals Ministry could use some extra helping hands. This ministry helps to bring meals (homecooked, delivered, or purchased) to families in our church in special times of need such as when recovering from surgery. If you are willing to lend a helping hand in this area it would be a huge help to our church family. Please let us know of your interest with the link below and you will be contacted to learn more about it. THANK YOU!

Building Up. Reaching Out.

Our church mission is this - to build up a body of believers and reach out to those who may not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have an evangelism team at Living Truth. The team makes regular visits to the Tyler Galleria and to Norco College. They speak to folks about the Gospel and recently have seen a great response at Norco college with students professing Christ and attending the Christian Club on campus. This is to be celebrated! Thank you, team! Matthew 28:19-20

Having said this, at this time we do have a great need for Bibles and Bible tracts to be handed out. If you feel led to donate to the Evangelism Ministry, please do so through our designated giving online - choose "Evangelism" OR you can indicate on the memo line of checks or on an offering envelope. This makes sure your funds are dispursed properly. Thank you.

If you would like to become involved, please speak to Pastor John.

Let us pray for you

Wednesday night is now a time when you can come and be prayed over for whatever you're going through. You can also come and pray for a family member or friend, and we will intercede together and stand with you. Just come to the church office conference room on Wednesdays between 6-6:45 PM.

Rizty & Nenita Sioco - Philippines

Our highlighted missionaries for the month of October are Rizty and Nenita Sioco. They have ministered in their native Philippines since 2012, where they began My Father's House Bible Center, a Calvary Chapel Bible College affiliate. Please keep them in prayer for God's blessing on their work, for adequate funding, and for a continued servant's heart. Visit the Resource Center in our foyer for more information. They are currently in the US and will be with us on the LT campus from time to time. Visit My Father's House website below.

Please pray about how you can serve . . .

Areas of service that we need to shore up are:

  • help after 2nd service to tear down the courtyard
  • our parking lot team - a vital part of our events running smoothly!
  • greeters and ushers
  • serving just once or twice per month is a huge blessing to the church

Please pray about how you can help and let us know your interest by tapping the graphic above. If you have not attended our Welcome to LT Event to start the process to serve, please sign up for our next one on the first Sunday of each month. Watch the bulletin for registration.

SERVING IN LT KIDS

If you are a member of LT and have a heart for children, please pray about how you can speak into the lives of our LT KIDS on Sundays or Kingdom Kids on Wednesdays. A huge thanks to all that have recently stepped up to serve in LT KIDS. If interested in serving, including SUBS - men and women - to help in the classrooms when needed to fill in for a teacher or assistant, please let us know! You can serve either once a month or every other week. If interested or have questions, let us know by tapping the "Looking for a Place to Serve?" graphic above under "I Want to Serve," or see Tonya or Christy for details.

Youth Small Groups and more . . .

Join us on Wednesday nights for small groups. We meet in the Youth Room at 6:30 PM for fellowship. We start groups at 7:00 PM. Our Youth Groups (7th-8th & 9th-12th) meet during our 11:00 AM Sunday service only. They join us in the main sanctuary on Sundays for worship and are then dismissed. See Pastor Matthew with any questions. See below for Pastor Matthew's updated newsletter.

A Biblical Perspective

Did you know your kids can legally receive their education from a Christian worldview? If you'd like your kids to learn history, science, geography, math and more from a Biblical perspective, then consider private homeschooling. Affordable, private Christian homeschool classes are held on Fridays, here at the church. For more information, contact our LT Kids Ministry Director, Tonya Salinas, at Tonyaltk@gmail.com or call the church office 951-735-2856.

Our school year began on September 5th, but registration remains open.

A Biblical Model of Community

LT Fellowship Groups are small in-home groups that engage all church members into the Biblical model of community. These groups seek to model the behavior of the early church described in Acts 2:42, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” As far as the topic of study, the groups will focus on the Sunday sermon, answering questions and engaging in dialogue around that week’s section of scripture.

At this time, we are planning on new groups in addition to current ones, to answer the need for more! If you are interested in becoming part of a group, tap below, and contact us to get involved in a group.

Walk In Truth Media Ministry

Pastor Michael's teachings air on Walk In Truth. Tune in via radio (99.5 KKLA locally) and through your favorite podcast app. Share with a friend or family member that does not attend LT that our teachings are available to them. For exact air times and other stations, go to our website below.

Radio, Podcasts . . . and Minisodes!

This continues to be an exciting time for this LT ministry with outreach currently through radio, podcasts, and A Step Closer - a minisode series where Pastor Michael Lantz and others on the Walk in Truth team discuss topics and questions about life from a Christian perspective. Access through your favorite podcast app or the Walk in Truth website. Minisode topics include the resurrection, a heart felt discussion on abortion issues, anxiety, and our 6:33 event on deconstruction of the Christian faith with Tim Barnett.

Our listenership is growing! To see all of the stations and podcasts on which Pastor Michael can be heard, tap below. Thank you to those who have donated to this ministry. We could not do it without you!

Sunday Sermon Discussion Questions

Each week - usually no later than Tuesday morning - we publish sermon questions based on the previous Sunday's message. Our small groups use these when they meet during the week. If you are interested in using them for personal study, you can view and/or print them when released in our bulletin as a PDF. They can also be viewed through our website. For instructions on how to do this and to access the download link, tap below.

Noise levels in our foyer

Fellowship is so important to our church family and we so enjoy seeing everyone fully engaged. We do, however, have a request. The noise level in the foyer between services, after 2nd service begins, and prior to our 3rd service can be very loud. It is not a very large area, so sound travels into the sanctuary, especially as the door is opened and closed as people arrive. If you are engaged in conversation, and the service has begun, would you be so kind as to move outside to the courtyard to fellowship. If in the foyer, please be aware of the volume! This will be very helpful in not distracting those in worship. We appreciate your understanding . . . and your desire to fellowship!

>>> We would also ask that if you attend 2nd service and remain in the sanctuary to visit after service ends, that you please be aware of our 3rd service's need to prepare for their worship and service at 1:30 p.m. Clearing the sanctuary and foyer by 1:00 p.m. after 2nd service will help them out and be much appreciated. Thank you!
