Whether you accepted Jesus recently or years ago... if you have yet to take this next step, please join us for Believer's Baptism.

Baptism is symbolic of your decision to follow Christ, to demonstrate the shedding of your former self, and your rebirth as a child of God. We practice baptism by immersion. We have extra clothes, a photographer and someone who will walk you through the process.

As a teenager, Daniel was exiled to Babylon, far from his home and the Promised Land. Despite living in what was the cultural center of the Babylonian empire, he stood firm and served God faithfully.

Like the story of Daniel, it can often feel as though we've been stranded in a place where we are left to endure the weight or consequences of sin. Throughout this series, we will seek wisdom to serve God faithfully in the middle of such a world and how to persevere in hope.

Did you know CalvaryPHX had an Operation Christmas Child team of volunteers who meet throughout the year? They are busy searching and sorting through donations for the CalvaryPHX OCC Packing Parties in November. They make it possible for us to pack over 1800 shoeboxes. And, they could use your help!

Each month, we will be promoting items for the OCC Collection Drive. There will be bins in the atrium and you can drop off these items anytime throughout the month.

This month, we’re focused on Small Toys. No liquids, please; we are specifically looking for small bouncy balls, yo-yo's, jump ropes, etc.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
(Galatians 6:2)

If receiving help is new to you, we know it can be painful and humbling to finally admit that you need it. However, God did not create you to handle your burdens alone.

Those of us who have been on the receiving end of another's love and service fully understand what Paul means when he says that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Those three words — “I need help” — set into motion the Lord working in your life in new, powerful ways.

If you could benefit from a donation of groceries, or if you know someone who can, please contact the church office at 602-973-4768.

Let us love you, the way Jesus wants you to be loved.

This two-unit elective will help students to develop a Biblical view of sexuality, as well as a Biblical response to sexual norms in our current culture. Focusing on the purpose and design of sex, we will not only unpack what Scripture says about these issues, but also engage in philosophical reflections about why Scripture says these things.

We hope that through this course students will be equipped with the ability to defend a Biblical view of human sexuality and also be able to communicate why the current cultural sexual ethic is so damaging to human beings.

This is a two-unit biblical studies elective that can be taken for either credit or audit. For more information, visit:

The week of June 7-11, Eagle Lake Camps is hosting a day camp at the Central Campus for ages 7-12. They essentially bring camp to us with teaching and worship, along with fun activities for the kids like water inflatables and a bungee trampoline.

It takes a lot to host this camp and keep it affordable, so we’re looking for volunteers to serve in the following capacities:

  • host families to house a minimum of 3 camp staffers,
  • volunteers to work check-in and check-out,
  • teens to serve as Jr Crew Counselors,
  • and a nurse, EMT or doctor to serve as our camp medic.

If you are interested in registering your kids or serving in any one of these capacities, go to
