Thursday, February 14th in the Thunderdome, we are having Valentine Festivities for couples and singles. This is a fun night for all! The cost for this event is $15 per person, which covers dinner from Panda Express, entertainment with the Newlywed Game, a photo booth, and lots of great fellowship. Tickets are on sale now before and after services.

Child care is available, but you must pre-register your children.

The Gathering, a new ministry for widows and widowers. The first meeting was on Febuary 7th at 7PM in the Welcome Center fireside room.They plan to meet on the first Thursday of each month. March 23rd is the date for our 2019 Marriage Retreat. We're teaming up with Calvary Chapel Big Bear at their facility. Pastor Jerel and Merrily will be teaching. The cost is $25, 10am-6pm. This doesn't include meals. The theme is "The Mountains and the Valley's of Marriage".

Bible College Classes are being offered at the Joshua Springs campus in the Welcome Center. On Friday's, Charlie Nesbit is teaching from Romans, on Saturday's, Pastor Bob's class is "New Testament Studies",. Credits are accepted at Calvary Chapel University.

Ladies Tuesday morning and night Bible study are at 9:30AM & 7PM in the Sanctuary. Merrily Hagerman is teaching from the Book of Luke. We have worship, a teaching, discussion time at the tables and prayer. At the morning study we have an opportunity to eat lunch together for $6. At the night study they have snacks and occasionally have dinner before the study begins. Child care is provided for both studies.

The Crochet Ministry meets every Monday at 9-10:30AM in the Welcome Center. They make blankets, lap blankets and shawls. Anyone is welcome to join. The crocheters need YARN, and they'll take any color you have. You can bring it to their meeeting on Monday, or deliver it to the church office.

2019 Women's Retreat - Sister to Sister, with guest speaker Karen Abercrombie. The date is October 4th,5th, & 6th. We will be at Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Twin Peaks. The cost is $185 per person if you pay with a check or cash. We do have charge an extra 3% for credit cards & on line payments.

Karen Abercrombie is the actress who portrays Ms. Clara. She is just as beautiful, inside and out, as the character she plays. A strong woman of faith, a godly woman with a truly amazing sweet soul. She is one busy woman, giving everyday to our Lord and Savior for His glory!

Thursday night Bible Study at 6:30pm at the Lear House. The study is led by Tony and Anita Williams. The Lear House is located at the corner of Lear and Hwy 62 in 29 Palms. Child care is provided.

The Most Excellent Way is a Christ-centered ministry helping people achieve freedom from alcoholism, drug abuse, and other life-dominating behaviors.
