Week of Prayer 2019

Join with people from across Canada, as we participate in the CCMB Week of Prayer, Jan 20-26. You can access the Prayer Guide at the link below. This year, Martie Giesbrecht (an artist from our Attridge Site) provided all of the supporting artwork for the Prayer Guide.

Men’s Ministry

Our program is all about our identity in Christ. We will touch deep into the resolve of Christ and learn how we can model our lives to be closer to Jesus. We will meet in the lounge from 6-8pm on Jan 12, 19 & 26.

Parent and Child Dedication

On Sunday, Feb 3, during both services, there will be an opportunity to commit before our Attridge congregation, your desire to raise your kids in a Christ-centered home with the support of the church.

Prayer Summit

Please join us on Sunday, Jan 20 from 7-9pm in the Lounge. Bring your whole Small Group or come on your own. You'll be both encouraged and challenged as we worship and pray together.

Women's Support Group

There may not be many people around you who understand the pain your separation or divorce has caused. This group offers support in how to deal with the pain of the past and discover hope for the future as you experience God’s healing.

Ushers Needed

The Connection Camp Night

Grade 6-12 students are invited to join us at Rock of Ages church from 7:30-10pm on Jan 18 for The Connection Camp Night! The purpse of this night is to connect kids from youth groups to camps in a night of community and fun times! We'll be hanging out with Camp Kadesh, Redberry, Lakeview and Youth for Christ.

Sr. High - Tues, Jan 15Family Supper: **6:30-8:30pm** Join us for a meal and some study time (or a study break)!

Jr. High - Fri, Jan 18Connection Camp Night: 7:30-10pm at Rock of Ages Church (Grade 6-12)

Young Marrieds

Join us on Thursday, Jan 17, from 6-9pm at Pastor Bruce and Lisa's house for a meal and a time of studying scripture. For those in their first years of marriage and also those who are engaged. Contact Lisa if you are able to make it and/or need directions.

Refugee Family Re-settlement

Our new family is looking to purchase a used car, if you or someone you know has something available please Contact Lindy. They have a budget of about $1700.

Prayer and Celebration
  • Continue to Pray for Jason Tuck as he recovers from brain surgery. Also pray for Clarence and Carol as they support their son.
  • Pray for Jean Ens as she continues chemo treatments.
  • Pray for Alec and Marlene Postnikoff (Lloyd Postnikoff's parents) as they were involved in a serious car accident last week. Pray they would be stable enough to be moved to Saskatoon.

  • Pray for our SK MB Conference. This week’s focus - Special Training Workshop: Pray for safe travel and much learning by SKMB pastors and leaders at the Crisis Management and Social Media workshop hosted by the SKMB at Horizon College & Seminary January 19th.

  • The International Community of Mennonite Brethren (ICOMB) encourages churches to pray for our global leaders. This week's focus: Andreas Isaak – Germany (Verband Mennonitischer Brüdergemeinden in Bayern – VMBB): Pray for the conference ministering in a historically catholic area, reaching out to nominal Christians. Pray for their work with refugees and the partnership they have started with Lithuania.
