Grief Support Group - Meadville Campus

Are you traveling the path of grief? Have you recently experienced the loss of a loved one? You are welcome to attend a newly forming support group. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at New Beginnings Meadville Campus in room 101, 7-8PM.

Feel free to invite someone to join you so you don't have to come alone. (Church family and friends - if you know someone that would benefit from this connection, please invite them - or bring them!)

Next meeting - September 13th

Volunteers Needed

Do you have a passion for empowering or providing hope to others? Do you have a desire to help make a difference in the lives of others? If so, then Women’s Services, Inc. needs you! Volunteers are an integral part of the work that we do at our organization, providing us with more than 2,000 hours of service annually, and you could be a part of that vital team.

On September 19th, we are launching our Fall 2017 Volunteer Training Course. This 60-hour training, which will run through November 21st, is designed to provide new volunteers with a background on domestic violence and sexual assault. Upon successful completion of the training course, new volunteers will be prepared to serve at Women’s Services, Inc. in a variety of capacities best suited to each individual's strengths and interests.

If you or someone you know is interested in participating in Women’s Services, Inc. 2017 Volunteer Training, please contact Brynya Bowden at bbowden@womensservicesinc.org or 814.724.4637.

Fall Launch Sermon Series - Modern Relationships, Vintage Values

Why are relationships so challenging? Let’s just say it … we have issues! But there is Good News. God, the inventor and creator of relationships, has something hopeful and helpful to say about the issues we all face each and every day.

This 10 week series begins on the weekend of September 9/10. You can join us online via live stream or at the Meadville Campus on Saturday at 6PM or Sunday at 8:30 & 10:30AM and at the Titusville Campus on Sunday at 10AM. See you there!

Mandy also states that “Each and every counselor at Mercy House has gone out of their way to make me feel at home and accepted and that is something that the counselors do even more so for the clients that they counsel.”

Mandy also states “I will take with me from this experience the result of learning more about the field that I will be working in, but more so the willingness to allow the Holy Spirit to guide my daily endeavors. The confidence that has been birthed in me and the foundation that has been laid as a result of being here at Mercy House will forever be taken with me wherever I go.
